Yet again, stupid radio presenters have been the cause of an unexpected tragedy! the nurse that answered the prank call from an Austrailian radio show in which the presenters were pretending to be the queen and prince Charles has committed suicide. I must admit, I have made a few prank calls from time to time but I haven't gome too far and definately haven't tried to breach the security of a royal person.
I hope that those prsentrers are feeling really guilty and have realised what a stupid and frankly immature thimg they have done! they are supposed to act proffesionally on the radio at all times, both on and off the air, I am not saying that they can't have a laugh and joke and a bit of banter because that is what makes some radio shows great, however, they should really think about what they are going to do before they do and what consequences this action may cause. I can't imagine what the family of this nurse are feeling right now and if she had any children then I give my absoloute condolences to the family.
To be honest, in my eyes those radio presneters have committed murder because we all know that it was because of how guilty the nurse felt about the fact that she had been fooled into thinking that these bafoons were memebers of the royal family. Some people may say that the nurse should have use some common sense and known that the queen wouldn't have called up the hospital personally and asked, she would have either visited or got one of her butlers to do if for her for fear of a security breach. We all make mistakes and maybe this nurse was so shocked to hear the queen call up that she thought that she couldn't dare question the word of her majesty the queen so in my eyes, the radio presenters have made a far bigger mistake and caused a family somewhere some undeserved pain and heartache. I'm not sure what has happeed to the presenters back in Austrailia but I'm assuming they have been either sacked or suspended pending an investigation by the authoirites.
