It’s only a word – My thoughts on the “Plebgate Scandal”

Before we start this article I would just like to apologise for a very long absence due to internet problems but I am back now so no need to worry!
Now, this “Plebgate” scandal (if you can really call it that) has just gone on for far too long and is getting ridiculous and boring! This whole thing has gone over the top, like the title says, it’s only a word! According to Wikipedia which obviously isn’t the most reliable source of information, Mitchell actually dropped a few F bombs after being asked to use the pedestrian gate as he exited Downing Street, I don’t know if this is true or not but I highly doubt that it is.
Andrew Mitchell has obviously got quite a reputation when it comes to controversy, he has been investigated for tax avoidance in the past amongst other things and I was very critical of him for doing that because it was dishonest and immoral but all this investigating and arresting police officers over a single word? our taxes are paying for this stupid thing and people wonder why we are the most common country to moan and whinge about our government whenever we get the chance!
Whilst the police are sitting around in an office investigating a word there are people being murdered, raped and mugged every night! I wonder how they would feel if they knew that rather than do their jobs and stop crime, the police were trying to build an unbuildable case against a member of the bloody government! For Christ sake, the met need to get their priorities right but then again the whole government do! Me and my mates call each other plebs all the time! it’s just a tiny word that’s is commonly used to describe someone of little intelligence or common sense and frankly that is the exact description of the police officers that Mitchell insulted and it is a clear description of the officers in charge of this investigation which we all know will go absolutely nowhere!
We’ve even got police officers being arrested for leaking information to the press and yet again, whoever it was was wrong for doing it but you don’t need to arrest him for it! they are just trying to earn a bit of money  to keep their families safe and put a roof over their heads because they are not paid enough for protecting the streets and putting their lives at risk everyday for the safety of the public!
I just wish this whole thing would go away and Andrew Mitchell and the police could agree to disagree because like I said at the beginning, it’s only a damn word!

Are the Serbian under 21's deaf as well as stupid?

Serbia under 21's manager Aleksandar Jankovic has accused the England players of overreaction and has said "I did not see racism". Okay managers protect their teams and fans from media scrutiny when fair and necessary and on this occasion it was neither. What Jankovic has done is lie! Jankovic has also accused the England squad of "using racism because it is such a sensitive issue". Yes it is a sensetive issue which is why England would not lie about it in the first place because they know that if the FA found out they were lying they would be in serious trouble and considering the amount of negative media John Terry has been getting, I doubt England want any more.

The England squad have called for Serbia to be banned from International competition and I think that they should be too. Lets be honest, this isn't the first time Serbia and England have clashed on the pitch and whenever they do clash or fight like they did during the game, it just ruins the atmosphere completely for everyone in the stadium (unless you were joining in like the Serbian fans did!) and for people watching at home.

Aleksandar also said "I did not see racism in Krusevac, and I was there on the field from the first minute (of the match) to the last second of the brawl."

UEFA have called for disciplinary charges against England too because of their reaction to the racist chants from the crowd and players but I don't think that this is very fair because anyone would react that way if they got "monkey" chanted at them wherever they were football players or dustman. I know some of the players should have shown more restraint but obviously it was hard to do that during the fighting and chanting.

Lets all hope that the FA do the right thing by sacking Jankovic and banning Serbia from International competition, this way the game of football will be more enjoyable and hassle free for everyone!
