The CPS are currently considering whether or not the presenters of the Australian radio station responsible for the Kate Middleton prank call have committed any offences when they made the hoax call. The consequence of the prank was the suicide of the nurse that took the call and gave confidential information to the presenters regarding Kate’s condition.
In my opinion, I think that offences were committed. Firstly, here in the UK we call what they did fraud,murder and malicious communication! I don’t know what the laws are in Australia but I think that the presenters should be charged over here as it was here that the crime had the most effect.
Some people have sympathy for the DJ’s because they are being targeted and have to live in a safe house to prevent them being assaulted or killed but I don’t because they deserve everything they get! if they hadn’t made that prank call in the first place, the nurse that took the call would still be here to celebrate Christmas with her family!
They deserve to get prosecuted for fraud and manslaughter at least because they need to be officially punished for what they have done! for a more in depth opinion from me about the prank call give the original article a read! click the link below!
